Perth is known for its amazing beaches, but we’re also a city choc-full of beautiful parks. If you’re game to have a Perth park photography session, I know a place or two… It’s possible that I’ve developed a bit of a special interest in checking out parks and other green places. I’m always on the lookout for tucked away gems that may make amazing photoshoot locations. I’ll often mark places on my maps app, so I can find them again later and scout them out properly. Here’s all the details for a session at one of the parks I found locally.
I love a little greenery in an outdoor session and the local park we chose for Swati’s maternity session was perfect. Rolling green hills (albeit small ones), a needle-strewn pine forest and even a swamp all in one park made for some backdrop variety.
And the sun certainly came out to play. We got a perfect, golden sunset just to make it that little bit more special. For Perth park photography sessions, I always time them to wrap up just as the sun is setting. The light during this “golden hour” is usually soft and glowing- perfect for showcasing this special time in your life.
