I have had a pretty lengthy to-do list this year. I moved into my studio towards the end of 2021, so this year has been all about setting everything up there and in many ways starting over from the beginning again. As you can imagine, this has kept me pretty busy over here. I did manage to find some time to enter a photography competition with some of my maternity and newborn photography though. And, I was really excited to score two bronze awards!
I was so excited to photograph little Claire with her sweet face and gorgeous head of hair earlier this year. I entered this photo of her into the newborn photography category and was thrilled that the judges liked it too.
Stunning Hine visited the studio to help me photograph some of the gowns in my client closet. She was an absolute natural with modeling and we got some beautiful images from her session. This one featuring a gown from Mii-Estilo was one of my favourites. I entered this into the maternity photography category and was so pleased with the bronze award.
Winning these awards has made me really excited to enter more competitions and (fingers crossed) have more maternity and newborn photography awards to share here in the coming months and years.
