Want something a little different for your brand new baby? Then a Perth outdoor newborn photography session might be just the thing for you. They’re best in spring and autumn to hopefully avoid heatwaves and rainstorms, but we can usually find a day to do them in any month if you’re super keen.
Sweet Cebi and his family had their outdoor session in November before things heated up in Perth. We wrapped him up snugly and he dozed off to sleep in the shade. George Burnett Park in Karawara was a perfect choice. Centrally located, it has lots of shady trees, flowers, public toilets and (most importantly) a playground for Cebi’s brothers to hang out on while they waited for us.
Cebi was just under two weeks old for his photoshoot. Your newborn is usually sleepiest and fastest to settle in the first couple of weeks- the perfect time for your Perth outdoor newborn photography session! However, it’s okay to do the sessions with slightly older babies, too as they tend to settle well once swaddled snugly.
I aim to get a variety of images with different wrap colours and props and simply by moving a few metres in each direction to find some different coloured flowers :-). As always, family photos are included (and strongly encouraged). And I’ll always take some detail shots to immortalise your newborn’s tiny features.
We’ll have your Outdoor newborn photo sessions all “wrapped up” within two hours. They’re timed to coincide with Perth’s amazing sunsets so we get that lovey, soft, golden sunlight. There are so many amazing locations to choose from for your outdoor session. If you have a park in mind- maybe somewhere special to you- I’d be happy to scout it out to see if we can make it work. Or if you need some suggestions, I’ve got a whole lot of those, too.
I would love to have a chat about an outdoor session for your little one. Hit up my contact page to get in touch!
